This place is a hidden gem. The food is delicious and always fresh. The extensive menu offers a wide variety of authentic Thai dishes, ensuring there's something for everyone. The service is consistently excellent, making each visit a pleasant experience. Their Thai teas are perfect, and they. have. chilli. oil.!! *drops mic *
So good that we went twice in the same week upon discovering it! Super Sap's has instantly solidified itself as our favorite Thai spot. Everything we've eaten here has been delicious!! The flavors are well-balanced and even the unfamiliar dishes are yummy at first bite. I'm so excited to explore their extensive menu and learn more about Thai cuisine. The spice levels are adjustable and the portions are enormous. I'm able to get two meals out of one entree which is so convenient. The restaurant is clean with modern decor and a huge bar in the middle. The servers have all been very nice and helpful. Can't wait to be back!
Love this restaurant/bar! It is rare that I find a restaurant where the vibe is on point, food is delicious, and the staff are full of enthusiasm for guests to be comfortable and happy!! My only recommendation would be they stay open later. They close at 10pm!! This is a long review so start with key notes & if you want details & photos keep reading.... **Notes** - Restaurant & Bar Vibe is electric & inspiring - Food is Fresh traditional Thai & Fusion! Lots of variety but not too much that they don't have specialties dishes. - Great Date Night; dim lighted areas for romantic conversation vibe or section with a dance floor disco ball, small stage for live music, and a bar. - Good for solo eating - Amble bar space & will sit singles at tables - Karaoke & Live Music on certain nights - all ages & types of music - Sports - TV & screen - Drinks - They have a full bar with many Sake varieties (sparkng, flavored, non-flavored, cold, hot, etc.) - Patio with fans, heat, lights...very beautiful at night - Ample parking (safe & lots of lights) **DETAILS** I was greeted swiftly & felt literally catered to the whole visit and they were jammed backed. Mind you, I had ordered online for takeaway & a drink while I waited because the vibe was so amazing. I ended up staying & leaving 2 hours later because it was so much fun! The first time I came during the soft opening week, the bartender had recommended a sake back then but I couldn't remember which one. The bartender not only remembered me, but also where I sat, & the Sake so I could order it again. Wow!!! Talk about attentive bartender that is always on their A game!!! They had these beautiful glasses that the Sparkling Sake was served in. I really appreciated that given it was an expensive (fully worth it) Sake. As I sat at the bar waiting on my takeaway, I admired the beautiful glass of Sake. Thank you to the manager/owner who saw me appreciating the beauty of the glass. He said, "If you like that glass, you should see the new ones." Then he came back a few moments later with another bottle of Sake on the house (attentive to what I had been drinking & didn't care of the cost but that I fully experienced the SAKE in THAT NEW glass). I posted photos of the whole experience including what I ordered. I put the menu name & number of the dishes in the PHOTO description. The dishes were fresh and beautiful presented; even for the "take away". The SPICES were SEEN and super FRESH. You don't need to nor should you alter ANYTHING. You do have the option for preferences on spice levels, do not includes, etc. I highly recommend stepping out of your comfort or control zone and take the dishes as the chef intended. You will NOT be dissapointed. Talk about turning a low key boring night into a karaoke, Sake, and disco ball night! So much fun!!! Thank you again to that gentleman for his generosity!
I've been meaning to try Super Saps for quite some time and finally did. We ordered the Chicken Satay, Pad Kra Pao, and Three Kings Chicken. Hats off to the Madam Mam and Saps empire; despite their split, at least we have two great sets of Thai restaurants now, and they don't skimp on the spice--they go up to 40 ! Here's what we got: **Chicken Satay ($12):** Generously portioned and moist, the chicken satay was a delight. The accompanying sauce, pickles, and toast rounded out the appetizer nicely. **Pad Kra Pao ($17):** Served with ground pork and a generous helping of Thai basil, this dish didn't hold back on the Thai peppers and came with two perfectly runny eggs. **Three Kings Chicken ($24):** This was our least favorite, mainly because I'm more accustomed to bone-in chicken. However, I appreciated the variety in the "Three Ways" presentation. The steamed chicken was a bit bland, though the scallion oil sauce helped. The fried chicken was crispy and juicy, paired with a sweet and sour sauce. The grilled chicken was flavorful, reminiscent of teriyaki. The rice and side soup were very tasty. While $24 might seem steep, the portion size was substantial. Overall, all dishes were enjoyable. Service-wise. There was a couple of kitchen mishaps with not having fish (what I came for) but they gave us a free creme brulee to make up for it!
Overall, this place was pretty good. I had higher expectations for the crispy egg omelette though. Compared to the other Thai places, the omelette here wasn't crispy enough for me and not enough pork filling. Flavor was good, I enjoyed their Thai tea and the way it was served. The cups were so cute! My favorite dish we ordered that day was the Tom yum noodle soup, it was flavored just right, sour and sweet. The crispy duck was good but nothing remarkable, have had better. Beautifully decorated outside with lights hanging on the trees. I would probably come back to sit outdoor with my dog. Good service.
Amazing. Best Thai food I can remember having. The red curry (level 5) was spectacular (spiced just perfectly for this chili head.) Son got pork belly Panang curry and loved it. Husband got moo ping pork skewers and loved them. He also got sticky rice and mango and coconut ice cream (non dairy) and said they were all amazing. Younger child got shrimp cakes and real crab meat rangoons. Please see pics! They have a patio with some fans and heaters that you can plug in. My new fave Thai spot! If my reviews or photos, are helpful, please like them!
Food was excellent. Ambiance is upscale. Service was good. Definitely will be back! Fun place to get amazing Thai food in Cedar Park.
I love that they have indoor and outdoor seating. We went while they were having some sort of live music event so it was kind of hard to have actual conversation while we were eating. But not to worry, because you can just move outside (after letting your waiter know). The dishes are huge here and all really delicious. But beware of the spice. I think I'm okay with spice, but a level 2/5 was pushing my tolerance a bit. My friend also got 2/5 but wasn't able to eat hers at all.
Tried Super Sap's on a Sunday afternoon with my man and had a delicious experience. The restaurant has a nice, modern vibe with a large, oak-shaded patio outside. We didn't get to enjoy the patio as it was a rainy day, but would imagine it's lovely normally. I had the green papaya salad, which is one of my favorite Thai entrees. It's cool and refreshing but with a subtle heat that builds with each bite. The salad is served with dry shrimp and peekoe crab (I could have done without the crab as it was salty and fishy tasting to me). There are plain fried pork rinds and fresh tomatoes to cool the fire in your mouth down. It was really tasty! My boyfriend had the pork sukiyaki which was flavored with a sweet, spicy sauce. Again, doesn't taste too spicy in the beginning, but it builds up with each bite. Everything was flavorful and delicious and we both enjoyed our meals and sampling each other's. We will definitely return and hope it's a little warmer in there next time. It was uncomfortably cold on our visit. Even the server was wearing a puffer vest!
